Specifications
Artist Statement
The many layers of this painting are the driving force behind its beauty. Each
layer adding to the complexity and details that allowed the final ink wash to
land in just the right spot. Highlighting the cracks and crevices, the highs
and lows of it's past life. To Try Again is a gorgeous reminder that our past,
no matter how rocky it may be, does not define us.
Original Media Used
In true Sailor style, this piece was created using saltwater, rum,
acrylics, and ink on gallery wrapped canvas.
Aaron Webb is a visual artist and U.S. Navy veteran. After serving multiple shipboard and ground-based tours in the Middle East, to include combat operations in Iraq, he discovered abstract painting as a way to navigate his emotional responses to his military experiences overseas. This self-discovery ignited a passion within him to visually tell his own, and others, stories.
His artistry employs the deconstruction of acrylics, watercolors, photography, and various mixed media materials, with aims to find hope and beauty in the interpretation and visualization of those stories.
Each print is framed in a gallery quality frame. A numbered and signed authentication card is included as well to ensure the exclusivity of each limited edition.
All framed artwork is ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive it.
